Luis G. Crespo, Ph.D., Senior Staff Scientist, National Institute of Aerospace
Interests: Robust control, stochastic control, and uncertainty-based methods for robust design. Background: I hold BS and MS degrees from Universidad de los Andes and a PhD from University of Delaware, all in Mechanical Engineering. Since 2002, I have worked for the Institute for Computer Applications to Science and Engineering (ICASE) and the National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) in several projects of interest to NASA Langley. Currently I work along with researchers of the Dynamic Systems and Control branch on the development of a framework for the performance analysis of fault tolerant controllers. In addition, we develop methods and tools for the verification, validation and eventual certification of such controllers. A list of some of my recent publications and a brief résume are available. |
